NEVERLAND – EST 1999
The story of NEVERLAND started in autumn 1999 at the music school ACM in Zurich,
when Boris Stoll (Drums) and Daniel Huber (Guit.) decided to start their own band.
The main goal was to give free rein to their own musical ideas and to compose songs that would appeal to all lovers of catchy melodic vocal lines, progressive interludes, in combination with classical riffs and melodies. Time passed and with an unbroken will to form their own band, they found the right musicians in Manuel Wagner (key), Andreas Mislin (guit.) and Roland Jost (bass), until the line up was completed with singer Mike Zotter.
Name giver Roland Jost in addition: "I found NEVERLAND more than suitable, since each member of the band comes from another part of Switzerland or Germany. In the musical sense NEVERLAND is a symbiosis of the words 'area and vastness', which is realized on the one hand by the spherical keyboards and the melodic vocals, on the other hand with the solid rhythm section. Conclusion: NEVERLAND is energetic metal with melody!"
This statement still holds true after several concerts, after music released worldwide and a tour in the USA. With the reunion of the founding members, the band is more determined than ever to open a new chapter in the history of Neverland.
